Glenn
Origins
Glenn arrived in Snowdrift Bay after reading a desperate legal listing in a journal titled “Town In Need of Sanity (or a Good Lawyer).”
He was the only applicant.
When he walked into Town Hall, carrying a briefcase and wearing a tailored suit beneath a perfectly symmetrical pineapple head, no one blinked. They were too busy arguing about whether the Rake could officiate weddings (Spike insisted it could).
Glenn opened his case, sighed deeply, and said:
“Let’s begin with a cease and desist… and maybe a deep breath.”
He’s been on retainer ever since.
Species & Appearance
Glenn is humanoid in every respect except for his unmistakable pineapple head, complete with leafy green crown and textured golden skin. His facial features come through his fruit exterior—subtle eyebrow motions, frowns, and tired smirks with a mixture of tropical flair and litigious gravitas.
He wears finely tailored suits, always carries a leather-bound notebook labeled “Objections & Outbursts”, and favors cufflinks shaped like tiny gavels.
His voice is smooth, deliberate, and carries the tone of someone constantly balancing charm, exhaustion, and quiet panic.
Personality
Glenn is professional, polite, dryly witty, and quietly long-suffering.
He has the air of a man perpetually bracing for disaster—because in Snowdrift Bay, he is. Whether it's a legally autonomous canoe or a town council meeting held underwater, Glenn keeps a pen in his breast pocket and a sigh behind his smile.
He is:
Clever without being smug
Frustrated without being rude
Endlessly patient—especially with Mayor Llama
He has learned to say “That’s not legally binding” in fourteen different tones.
Profession
Glenn is Snowdrift Bay’s official legal counsel, hired to:
Draft, review, and frequently undo town legislation
Mediate disputes that should never have happened
Keep the town from being sued by magical entities, sentient inanimate objects, or itself
He also:
Files daily emergency addendums to the town charter
Maintains a running list of “Statutes That Were Mistakenly Voted Into Law While Distracted By Pudding”
Hosts a monthly seminar titled “Please Stop Signing Things Before Reading Them”
Relationships
Yolanda (Wife): Glenn’s grounding force. The calm to his chaos. They share a deeply affectionate bond rooted in mutual professionalism and an understanding that sometimes, the law must bend… if only slightly.
Mayor Llama: Glenn sees Mayor Llama as both his employer and his greatest legal threat. Their dynamic is chaotic, filled with cease-and-desist scrolls and emergency mediation sessions. Despite this, Glenn genuinely likes him—mostly.
Butch McCoy: Butch finds the funding for the Mayor’s “initiatives,” and Glenn determines how many lawsuits they’re likely to result in. Their shared trauma has resulted in many nights of bonding at the Kraken.
Ramses: They’ve shared drinks and frustrations about town bureaucracy. Ramses finds Glenn “oddly relatable, for a fruit.”
Brenda: He’s helped her handle podcast liability clauses. She once called him “the pineapple with a prenup for every emotion.” He laughed.
Notable Lore & Moments
The Canoe Trial:
Successfully defended the town after Mayor Llama accidentally granted a canoe legal personhood. The canoe won. Glenn is still recovering emotionally.Jury Duty Fiasco:
Tried to explain that a rake isn’t a valid juror. Was overruled. Watched in silence as a marionette judge presided over chaos. Filed a new category in his files: “Judicial Absurdity: Frequent.”The Sentient Sign Ordinance:
Had to prove that a blinking sandwich board outside the diner was not legally allowed to curse at customers. The case took six hours and one philosophical crisis.
Quirks and Secrets
Keeps a stress gavel carved from enchanted driftwood.
Maintains a wall of post-it notes labeled “Laws I Shouldn’t Have Allowed But Couldn’t Stop.”
Sleeps in a recliner in his office more often than his bed.
