Learn the Culture
Snowdrift Bay culture is not something that can be learned in a traditional sense. It is absorbed—gradually, unpredictably, and often against one’s better judgment—through prolonged exposure to the town’s media, institutions, and collective habits.
Newcomers are encouraged to familiarize themselves with Bay Chats, the town’s interview podcast (and occasional puppet-adjacent broadcast), where conversations range from insightful to structurally unsound. For those interested in athletics, the Snowdrift Bay Pterodactyls provide a reliable source of civic pride, emotional volatility, and unclear rules enforcement. Meanwhile, television offerings such as Whispers in the Attic, Griddle Justice, and Town Council: Live! (And Heavily Edited) offer a window into the town’s storytelling instincts, legal system, and general tolerance for confusion.
Participation is not required, but it is difficult to avoid. Over time, patterns will emerge.
They will not help.
